Waithe is a tiny hamlet and the church is redundant. However, St Martin's has been restored by the Church's Conservation Trust and is often open.

St Martin's had a great deal of very striking nineteenth century stained glass. Much of it deteriorated beyond repair, but some has been restored. The window, left, showing St Martin giving his cloak to a beggar is typical of the style.
